Join the Jackie Adkins Memorial Cruise-In Celebrate the legacy of Jackie Adkins, a beloved community member and founder of Tazewell's original Cruise-In on Main Street. This special event honors his passion for cars, community, and bringing people together.
To preserve the traditional feel of the Cruise-In and maintain an open, relaxed atmosphere around the vehicles, this event will focus exclusively on the cars, the cruise, and live music.
Event Details:4:30 PM - Line-Up at 2330 Fincastle Turnpike, Tazewell (the old Ramey lot)
5:30 PM - Cruise to Main Street
6:00 PM to 9:00 PM -
Live Music by Continental Divide featuring Gene PharrContinental Divide, led by Gene Pharr, a 2016 inductee into the Carolina Beach Music Hall of Fame, is known for its energetic performances and a blend of Motown, soul, oldies, and beach music. They promise a night of unforgettable entertainment. Make sure to bring your dancing shoes!
