Tazewell’s Annual Winter Market on Main will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. ​In addition to the boutique shopping and warm restaurants already located on Main Street, there will be many vendors this season, including food trucks, local vendors, and visiting artisans and craftsmen from the surrounding Appalachian Area! 

​Main Street Stage will showcase various local talent and entertainment and provide photo opportunities for families, with a scheduled appearance by Mr. and Mrs. Claus! Come inside the Board of Supervisors Building to warm up with our annual Gingerbread House Decorating Contest. Winners are being picked by popular vote this year!

Tazewell's annual Holiday Parade will be on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 4:30.

The theme for this year's parade is "Home Sweet Home." What does that mean for you? Is it a sweet gingerbread house or cuddled up by the fireplace?

Everyone is invited to participate, but registration is requested to ensure we have room for all. Please register to join in the parade on our website. 

All parade participants should be at Tazewell High School, 167 Cosby Lane, Tazewell, VA, by 2:00 p.m. All entrants will be judged, and prizes will be awarded at 4:00. At 4:30 p.m., the parade will leave Tazewell High School and travel down Fincastle Turnpike to Main Street. On Main Street, the Grand Marshall will light the Christmas Tree, and then the parade will continue to the Little League Field.
